Starting in 1994 with kernel 0.x, we were Linux when Linux wasn't cool.

PegaSoft Canada is an association of Linux consultants based in southern Ontario. We provide a variety of services including custom Linux development and web design. We also design and promote commerical and open source Linux software. We sponsor a variety of local Linux events. PegaSoft members meet at regular dinner meetings to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in Linux and work together to develop great new Linux software. Our goal is to act both as a programmer resource and to promote projects developed by our members.

History

Since 1990, PegaSoft has created and marketed software that pushes industry boundaries. During its early days producing software for the Apple IIgs platform, PegaSoft's products received international acclaim, especially "Quest for the Hoard", a groundbreaking strategy game considered to be one of the best games for the Apple IIgs of all time.

Reformed in 1996, PegaSoft continues to develop innovative products of technical excellence. "System Manager in a Box" received a 5-penguin rating from tucows.com, their highest rating for Linux software.
